Steve Training -- Lactate Shuttle??

Today did a bit of a mixed session...went well.

3x10 reps powerlung

5:00 spiro 3.0L bag 25/30 rr

5:00 turkish getup 2 per side

5:00 spiro 3.0L bag 28/30 rr

8 x :20/:10 KB swing

5:00 easy spin on 150 watts - 100 rpm

8 x :20/:10 renegade row on KB

5:00 spiro 3.0L bag 28/32 rr

8 x :20/:10 wall ball

5:00 easy spin on 150 watts - 100 rpm

8 x :20/:10 rope slams focus on mostly arms (very little body)

5:00 spiro 3.0L bag 28/32 rr

8 x :20/:10 perfect pushups

5:00 easy spin on 150 watts - 100 rpm

5:00 spiro 3.0L bag 25/28 rr

  1. Nice one got to the slams today and ran out of time ... And need to find some slam ropes !

    Why the dropping rr rate ?

  2. I needed a higher rr because of the work being done prior to getting on spiro...more o2 demand I think.

    Posted the MattF vids again in a better version I think.

    I see on Spo2 so you weren't TTing on that RR like i was :) really enjoyable workout though
    - My glutes are feeling a combo of the bit of one leg we did and the KB Swings, Felt like I could actually use the glutes in the swings which is not normally the feeling I get -

    The swing should be a hip dominant exercise and really work hamstring and glute and core stabilization for sure...glad you noticed that.
