Goal setting...maybe they are relative...

It is that time of year when many are setting goals for 2011...some life...some sport related.

When setting those goals ask yourself if they are achievable...are they set high enough...what are you really capable of.

Wonder if many of us even know what we are capable of...what would it take to find out.

Please watch the video below...and then double check the goals you have planned for yourself.

Be respectful of others as you never know from where they have come ... or where they are headed.

Be kind to people...

MAF test rowing

First MAF test on the rower, did one on the bike last Saturday.

Before I started;

2 rounds of 10 of each except wheel walk for distance.

Chops / lifts / 25 m forward ms backward wheel walk / 3 x :10 paloff press both sides

Trying a little different approach this winter ... Some slight changes ... Check back for updates.

Below are first four wattages. Last one not shown was 154.

About 11% loss of performance from first to last.

11 more hours

Last night before Tahoe.

Got out for a spin to check the bikes and get the legs moving.

Don't always get to stop and look around during the event so took a few pics.

Forgot how amazing this back country is!

Working in calories per hour

Stopped to top up the bottles.

Just fine tuning how many calories per hour for Tahoe 100.

Another great session at Albion Hills with Melinda getting ready for the race.

It is very important to train with the nutrition you plan to race with. Not just the brand but the amount and the frequency are equally if not more important.
