Below is a screen shot of two tests over a few months period.
In the above test you will be able to see where some improvements were made in the athlete remaining linear in performance to the top of the test (where in previous test there was a reverse deflection - non-linear performance).
There is also a small drop in the Balance Point so will continue to look at this during ongoing sessions to make sure this moves back up in a positive direction.

The graph below shows trends in power and heart rate over time -- also looking like decent improvements on the 20 min power. Focus has really been on intervals below 12 minutes until the last week so will remain on current plan for another 4 weeks to see what happens to both the LBP and ULL wattage in the next FaCT test.

The Spiro respiratory training has also been going well for this athlete. Although there hasn't been any improvement on the bike as of yet, there has been improvement in the coordination of breathing with correct muscles as well as the ability to hold this form up to 20 min at this time.
Improvements here will also be posted as they happen (or not -- I will post both).
The fact that the Tidal Volume (L/min of O2 moved divided by Respiratory Frequency) remained constant in both tests -- I feel that at this time the improvement shown at ULL in the FaCT test is from the more specific training on the bike with RPM selection and Individualized Tempo sessions.
